YOUNG MEN IN UNITY
The Young Men In Unity Mentoring Program works with individuals, non-profit organizations, faith-based institutions, government agencies, schools, fraternities and social service agencies to make mentoring a national priority. Mentors will talk with youth about their jobs, the preparation necessary for acquiring jobs (including college or other post-secondary training and development,) and most importantly, their attitudes and actions (how youth need to be and what youth need to do in and out of school to prepare for a successful life in the world of work.) Additionally, mentors will offer advice on how to make good basic life choices. When young people see examples of what they can become, they are more likely to take school seriously, excel in school academically and graduate from high school with college aspirations.
