H.E.A.R.D.
H.E.A.R.D.’s mission is to positively affect the lives of adolescents and their support networks in Lubbock County through raising awareness of the problems associated with alcohol and substance use, to facilitate equitable growth of community resources, and to foster relationships through community action. The mission of the H.E.A.R.D. youth coalition is to improve all facets of local adolescent health, which include emotional, physical, spiritual, and social health.

WHY PARTNER WITH TYAN?
H.E.A.R.D. hopes to foster change in the perception of substance use in Lubbock County. Through their partnership with TYAN, they hope to empower youth to create the change needed in their communities by equipping them with leadership skills and other life skills.
