ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Since the inception of this program in 2014, SALSA have had 115 youth and 61 adults work together to impact Clear View High School in the risk factors of substance abuse, mental health, and transition to adulthood.

  • Clear View High School SALSA brings education and fun to their campus with Red Ribbon Week in October.

  • Love Above Week in February is all about putting Love Above: Apathy, Drugs, Hate, Violence, and Alcohol. “Love Above Week” was created to help provide an opportunity to focus on several risk factors most prevalent in high schools. The week has grown to include theme days with different activities, guest speakers, and special treats each day as we focus on that particular risk factor. Students also spend the week writing one another notes of encouragement so that each student goes home on Friday with a bag full of “love.” Students at Clear View don’t have sports, homecomings, or pep rallies, so Love Above Week has provided an opportunity for the campus to come together and celebrate something positive!
