Howdy! My name is Bethany Patterson, and I am from Dallas, TX. Both of my degrees are from Texas A&M: a B. A. in Mathematics and minor in economics, as well as an M.S. in Economics. In my TYAN role, I am part of the evaluation team. I primarily focus on quantitative tasks. This involves various responsibilities such as coding surveys and conducting data analysis. Through these activities, I contribute to assessing the impact and effectiveness of the program, shedding light on the dynamics of adult-youth relationships.

The most enjoyable aspect of working for TYAN is witnessing the tangible difference the program makes in fostering meaningful connections between adults and youth. Contributing to the evaluation process allows me to observe the positive outcomes and transformations that occur because of our collective efforts, which is truly fulfilling and motivating. As you might guess, I am a total math whiz, so naturally I have 2 cats named Eigen and Tobit!
